Ammolite is found in only one small location in the entire world. It’s unearthed at the foothills of the Canadian Rockies, in an area known as the Bearpaw Formation. In Canada, a special permit is required to mine for Ammolite.

I source Ammolite from a small family business in Alberta, Canada. They’ve been working closely with this gemstone for many years, even unearthing it from the ground themselves. Any pieces they didn’t collect were gathered by Indigenous Canadians from the Blood Tribe. It was their ancestors who first discovered Ammolite, long ago.
